Kristina

Hi my name is KRISTINA I have scleroderma morphea. I was diagnosed last year in january. I am 29 now and it has been very hard for me to deal with the drs in my area are oblivious to this disease and its very scary because i have to look up most of the info about it on my own.

I am married and have 2 of my own childern and a step daughter, my husband doesnt want to talk to me about it and just keeps saying dont worry they will find a cure but I dont have the hope he does i guess.

When i first got this it was only about the size of a half dollar on my stomach now a little over a year later is is bigger then a standerd size football this is why i am so scared the dr said it wouldnt spread rapidly and i would hardly notice it was there well he was very wrong. this hurts me very badly some days i am so tired I can hardly get out of bed and i have had two kidney surgerys to remove stones in my kidneys in the last year. I have had diareah and loss bowles for over a year my hands feet and ankles swell, crack and bleed seem to never heal. I have horibble head aches and some days my whole body seems to hurt. I get really bad leg and arm and neck cramps at night and really bad dry mouth none of these things were told could happen to me by any dr I just had to experience it all. well now I have to apply for disabilty which i dont want to do because i have been working since I was 14 and really am not ready to lay down and wait for more bad health problems to happen.

I guess thats enough for now if any one has info on programs in washington state or just wants to chat about this let me know by emailing me
